Physical TBR Books 11-20 Reviews
The second 10 books on my TBR and my unfiltered thoughts
I wouldn’t say I was super strategic when I started my TBR challenge. Honestly, I know this might be controversial, but I love a hardcover book. I love holding them in my hands and I love the weight of them. So I probably gravitated towards the hardcover books and I definitely gravitated towards my Book of the Month backlog because I want with a desperate passion to complete their challenge. If I don’t complete a bookish challenge I will feel like a failure, so that was definitely on my mind.
I’ve now read (as of today) 27 out of the 90 books on my TBR. I think I’ll need to post an update with all the books again with which ones I’ve read crossed out so people can let me know which one to read next. But, until then, please enjoy these ramblings of the books I’ve read. This will include the reviews of the next 10 books I completed and my thoughts on them.
Please keep in mind that though some of these books may not be for me, they could still be for you ! So do not let me influence or de-influence you to read something if it sounds like your vibe. Also, I’m not a professional writer or reviewer. But I do like to read and I do then have some thoughts on what I’m reading, so I’m happy to share those with you.
I noticed I have a lot of new Substack followers since my one-month check-in on TikTok. If you’re new here - welcome ! Let me break down how my TBR content is going to work for anyone new who might be interested. I’m going to be doing my best to recap how I’m feeling during my TBR challenge as I go, and I’ll also be posting some more in-depth reviews of what I’m reading. You might have noticed that there is some paid content on here, and I promise the money is going towards a good cause. I’m currently fundraising to open a bookstore, and anyone who subscribes for $5 a month will get all my content including reviews, monthly TBR goals, and the like. Free subscribers will get access to general content such as check-ins and my updated TBR list as I read.
Now, without further ado, let’s get into the next 10 books I spent the last few weeks with.
